Residency Earth is a non-profit sonic arts residency program that takes place at various endangered or otherwise shifting landscapes. A private laboratory that exists in nature, the program provides live and work spaces for artists to research remote environments and experiment within those landscapes.

Residency Earth is focused on the effects of climate change and archiving the sounds of its process. Through the chronicling of distinct bioregions, the recording of endangered sounds, and creation of new work and other sonic artifacts, each session aims to nurture a future practice for artists in residence to engage in a larger conversation with the planet.

Following the belief that the power of ecology's sounds can initiate dialogue across local, national, and international communities and disciplines, Residency Earth strives to provoke awareness and awaken action to protect the earth's precious resources for future generations.
